The Punch Card Project

The Punch Card Project is a collection of programs to make computer I/O with punch cards. Thus it has quite the same targets as the Paper Tape Project, but it is currently under active development (March 2010).
You can read the article Reading punch cards with contemprary computers for an up-to-date abstract about the project. Since the project's website is currently moving, you can posssibly get more information at the Punched Paper Project website.

- Prof. Douglas W. Jones proposed a file format for Emulated Punched Card Desks that is used a lot in this project. His overall work on the Punched Cards topic is really useful (and I still didn't got the time to write him an email at this time (June 2010))
